How does Clear differ from Original?
Material — Clear is shatterproof Tritan™ (transparent or color-tinted), Original is #7 polypropylene (dark grey, opaque). Brewing tech and taste are identical. Clear is more scratch-resistant and visually appealing, Original is more affordable and slightly tougher for travel.
Are the colored versions transparent?
Yes — Pink, Blue, Red, Purple, Green and Black are all color-tinted Tritan, you see extraction through the material. Clear is the fully transparent version with no tint.
Which filters fit?
All standard AeroPress paper microfilters (60 mm round) — same size as Original. Reusable stainless or mesh filters also work.
Does Tritan handle hot water?
Yes — Tritan is explicitly rated for hot water up to 109 °C. Brew temperatures around 90 °C are no issue. Just avoid direct hot plates or open flames.
