Does Grinder Clean damage my burrs?
No — quite the opposite. Independent breaking-force testing (n=35) shows: Grinder Clean pellets at 31.97 N, roasted coffee beans (medium roast) at 32.85 N. Cleaning is measurably less abrasive than a regular grind cycle.
Which grinders is Grinder Clean suitable for?
Suitable for all common electric espresso and filter grinders with conical or flat burrs (Eureka, Mahlkönig, electric Comandante, Fellow Ode, Timemore Sculptor, etc.). For hand grinders it's overkill — regular wiping and brushing is enough.
How often should I clean the grinder?
Café operation: weekly, or after every 4–5 kg of coffee ground. Home use: every 2–4 weeks depending on consumption. A simple signal: when the fresh-grind aroma fades or old oil smells stale — time for Grinder Clean.
What does 'seasoning the burrs' mean?
After grinding the cleaner through, some pellet dust remains in the chambers. Grinding one capful of coffee beans flushes it out and re-establishes the normal surface coating on the burrs. The next real espresso then tastes the way it should from the start.
