Standard fits AeroPress Original, Clear, Go. XL fits ONLY the AeroPress XL. Premium also fits Standard.
Difference vs Gold-Tone?
Both are 316 stainless. Stainless has standard mesh (more body, less clarity), Gold-Tone is super-fine plus titanium coating (more clarity, scratch-resistant). Stainless is more affordable.
How long does the filter last?
With normal use a lifetime — 316 stainless doesn't corrode and the mesh doesn't fatigue. Only mechanical damage forces a replacement.
Can I use both filters together?
Mesh + paper together works — gives maximum clarity with mesh stability. Mesh as base, paper on top, then brew.
