Description

The Baratza Single Dose Hopper replaces your grinder's standard hopper and turns it into a single-dose grinder: you load only as many beans as you need for one brew instead of filling the whole hopper. That makes it easy to switch between beans, roast levels or decaf every day without leftover beans sitting in the hopper.

The lid does double duty: use it as a dosing cup with fill lines to weigh your beans on a scale, then pour them straight into the grinder without spilling. The hopper holds up to 60g and swaps onto your grinder in place of the stock hopper without any tools.

This version fits the conical burr models Encore, Encore ESP and Virtuoso+. Vario and Forte (flat burr models) use a different hopper with its own part number from Baratza – don't use this one on those grinders.

Weigh your beans in the lid on a scale instead of eyeballing it – that keeps your dose consistent from cup to cup.

Switch between beans or roast levels without emptying the hopper completely – just load the right amount for your next cup.

Wipe the hopper out occasionally with a dry cloth, especially when switching between very different roasts, so flavors don't carry over.

Which Baratza grinders is this compatible with?
The Single Dose Hopper (manufacturer SKU ZGA6116) fits the conical burr models Encore, Encore ESP and Virtuoso+. Vario and Forte (flat burr models) use a different hopper with its own part number, and the Sette series has its own version too.
