Comandante officially supports the Polymer Bean Jars for the C40 MK3 and MK4. The thread fits form-fit onto the grind-chamber neck of those grinders — grinding straight into the jar included.
How many beans does it hold?
Around 80 g of whole beans — good for four to five pour-overs at 18 g, or two espresso dosing runs. As a liquid vessel it holds up to 190 g of brewed coffee.
Does the Bean Jar keep coffee warm?
The thick polymer walls insulate noticeably — freshly brewed coffee stays drinking-warm longer than in a thin-walled cup, and the outside stays grippy even with 90 °C inside.
Why does polymer help against static in grounds?
