Description

The Comandante Polymer Bean Jar is the compact 40 g bean container made of BPA-free high-performance polymer that screws straight onto the grind chamber of your Comandante C40 MK3 or MK4. Grind your beans directly into the jar, close the included polymer lid — and you have a precise dose neatly packed for filter, espresso, or the road.

Food-safe to EU standard, lightweight, virtually unbreakable. Identical tare weight across all color variants — pre-fill multiple jars and weigh without a tare reset. The slightly static polymer surface pulls chaff out of the grounds for a cleaner build in the cup.

Made in Germany by Comandante. Available in nine color variants — one for each setup.

Which Comandante grinders does the Bean Jar fit?

The Polymer Bean Jar is officially supported by Comandante for the C40 MK3 and MK4. The thread grabs directly onto the grind chamber neck of those grinders — grind straight into the jar included. Manufacturer sources also list it for the C60 Baracuda; it fits mechanically, but the support isn't uniformly confirmed across all sources.

How many beans does it hold?

Around 40 g of whole beans — that's exactly one pour-over dose (V60, Origami, Chemex Single) or two full 18 g espresso shots. For larger portions, the Bean Jar Large with 80 g capacity is the right pick.

Are all 9 colors materially identical?

Yes. All Bean Jars are made from the same BPA-free high-performance polymer, with the same dimensions (62 × 62 × 67 mm) and the same tare weight (90 g). You're choosing on looks alone.
