The Hario V60 Dripper NEO takes pour-over brewing to the next level — with 72 finely tuned ribs that converge into just 9 at the base.

The unique rib structure (utility model pending) makes water flow evenly along the entire wall — not just through the middle of the coffee bed. The result: faster extraction, clean cup, full body.

The handle-free body, made of ultra-thin Tritan resin (PCT), minimizes heat loss and keeps brewing temperature steady — crucial for balanced flavor and for avoiding sour, under-extracted brews, especially with light roasts. The silicone base keeps the dripper firmly on any server. Made in Japan.

Tipps für die erste Tasse

Rinse the paper filter with hot water before brewing — activates the Tritan wall thermally and removes papery taste.

Grind: medium-fine, similar to table salt. Too fast = grind finer; too slow = grind coarser.

Pour pattern: 30 g coffee to 500 g water, 50 g bloom for 30 s, then 4 pours up to 500 g.

Do I need special paper filters?

No. The NEO uses standard V60 paper filters — size 01 with 01 filters, size 02 with 02 filters. Cafec, Hario and Sibarist all fit.

What's different from the classic V60?

The NEO has 72 instead of 12 ribs, converging into 9 at the base. Result: less channeling, more even extraction. Plus: handle-free and made of thin Tritan instead of plastic/glass.

Is the dripper dishwasher-safe?

Yes — Tritan resin is heat- and dishwasher-safe. We still recommend regular hand-washing to keep the silicone base soft longer.

Which size for how many people?

Size 01 (NEO 01) serves 1-2 cups (max ~300 ml). Size 02 (NEO 02) serves 1-4 cups (max ~600 ml). Singles typically pick 01, couples and guests go for 02.
