Standard or XL — which fits my AeroPress?
Standard fits AeroPress Original, Clear, Go and Premium (all standard size). XL fits ONLY the AeroPress XL (larger chamber). Never swap — the sizes are not compatible.
What does Gold-Tone give me over the standard stainless filter?
Titanium coating + finer mesh. Standard stainless filters let more sediment through (fuller body), Gold-Tone filters finer (clearer result) and is scratch-resistant thanks to the titanium coating.
Does the coating change the taste?
No — titanium is chemically inert. Unlike some 304 mesh filters you don't get a metallic note in the brew, even after years of use.
How do I clean it properly?
After every brew rinse briefly under warm water and dry with a soft cloth. If needed dishwasher-safe — but hand-wash protects the finish longer.
