Description

The AeroPress Gold-Tone Reusable Filter is the reusable stainless filter with super-fine mesh and a gold-toned titanium coating — premium 316 stainless instead of standard 304, significantly more durable and scratch-resistant.

Super-fine mesh traps even the smallest coffee particles but lets flavor-carrying oils pass through — fuller body than paper filters, clearer cup than other mesh filters. The gold-tone finish isn't just looks: the titanium coating makes the filter chemically inert (no metal taste) and scratch-resistant.

Available in Standard (for AeroPress Original, Clear, Go, Premium) and XL (for AeroPress XL only). Dishwasher-safe, a lifetime accessory. Patent pending. Designed in Silicon Valley.

Tipps für die erste Tasse

Pre-rinse with hot water before brewing — removes residue, preheats the cap, cuts setup time.

At fine grinds add a paper filter on top of the mesh — gives maximum clarity without losing all the body.

For cold brew use a coarser grind — the finer mesh otherwise catches too much and the brew gets too clear/thin.

Standard or XL — which fits my AeroPress?

Standard fits AeroPress Original, Clear, Go and Premium (all standard size). XL fits ONLY the AeroPress XL (larger chamber). Never swap — the sizes are not compatible.

What does Gold-Tone give me over the standard stainless filter?

Titanium coating + finer mesh. Standard stainless filters let more sediment through (fuller body), Gold-Tone filters finer (clearer result) and is scratch-resistant thanks to the titanium coating.

Does the coating change the taste?

No — titanium is chemically inert. Unlike some 304 mesh filters you don't get a metallic note in the brew, even after years of use.

How do I clean it properly?

After every brew rinse briefly under warm water and dry with a soft cloth. If needed dishwasher-safe — but hand-wash protects the finish longer.
