How does Original differ from Premium and Clear?
Original = classic #7 polypropylene (tough, light, affordable). Clear = transparent polycarbonate. Premium = double-walled borosilicate glass + anodized aluminum. Brewing tech and taste are identical — only material and looks differ.
Which brewing method should I use?
AeroPress recommends the standard method (upright over the cup). The inverted method (upside-down) is popular in the community but explicitly not recommended by AeroPress — stability and burn risk.
Which filters fit?
All standard AeroPress paper microfilters (60 mm round). Reusable stainless or mesh filters work too but shift the body and clarity of the cup.
How long does the plunger seal last?
About 1-2 years with daily use — you'll notice when the plunger slips too easily or brew water sneaks past the edge. Replacement seals are available separately (AeroPress Replacement Seal).
