What does the XL give me over the Original?

Standard or Clear — which should I pick?
Standard is #7 PP plastic (anthracite, tough, more affordable). Clear is Tritan (transparent, visually appealing for café bar display, more scratch-resistant). Brew performance is identical — choose based on looks and budget.
Which filters fit?
Special AeroPress XL paper filters (larger than standard AeroPress filters). Standard 60 mm filters do NOT fit — you need the XL version. Stainless mesh filters in XL format also work.
Is the Tritan carafe BPA-free?
Yes — Tritan™ is explicitly BPA-free and FDA-compliant for food contact. Microwave-safe for reheating a cup, dishwasher-safe.
