Description

Cafetto Brew Clean Powder removes coffee oils and stains from brewers, carafes, servers, airpots and coffee pots — safe for your machine, biodegradable and economical to dose.

The powder is phosphate-free, biodegradable and GMO-free — all surfactants meet international standards for ready biodegradability. Cafetto manufactures in Australia and is certified to NSF P156 (corrosivity standard) and ACO Certified Allowed Input for organic food processing. Plus: ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 22000 and Codex HACCP (food safety).

How to use: dissolve 1 scoop (4 g) per 1 L of water, pour into the carafe, leave 15 minutes, discard and rinse with potable water. The measuring scoop is included in the jar. 500 g ≈ 125 applications — weekly cleaning recommended.

Keep the scoop dry — moisture clumps the powder and throws off your dose.

Rinse thoroughly with potable water after the contact time — ideally two rinse cycles so no cleaner residue reaches the next brew.

Which machines is Brew Clean suitable for?

Filter brewers and all equipment with carafes, servers, airpots and coffee pots — e.g. Bravilor, Marco, Fetco, Bunn, Curtis, Melitta, Animo, Grindmaster, Coffee Queen, Moccamaster, plus domestic filter machines. Brew Clean is NOT an espresso cleaner — for espresso groupheads use T32 Tablets or similar espresso cleaners.

How often should I use Brew Clean?

Cafetto recommends weekly cleaning. For high-volume use (café operation) clean more often. A 500 g jar lasts about 125 applications at 4 g per liter.

What does NSF P156 mean — and why is it important?

NSF P156 is a corrosivity standard for coffee equipment cleaners. It confirms that the product does not attack metal or plastic components when used as directed and leaves no harmful residue. You can use Brew Clean in your machine with confidence.
