Description

Cafetto MFC Green is an acidic liquid cleaner for automatic milk frothers and steam wands — removes milk fat residue, descales at the same time, and kills 99.999 % of common milk bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Enterococcus).

The formula is phosphate-free, GMO-free and biodegradable and leaves no trace of odor after rinsing. Cafetto MFC Green is NSF-listed (Nonfood Compounds A3, reg. no. 147359), ACO Certified Allowed Input for organic food processing, and Halal-certified. Plus: ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and Codex HACCP.

Use the integrated measuring chamber: squeeze the bottle until 50 ml sit in the chamber. For the milk line: mix 50 ml with 1 L warm water, flush through the system, rinse with 1 L clean water. For the steam wand: 50 ml in 500 ml warm water, soak 5 minutes, rinse and purge. A 1 L bottle lasts 20 applications.

Tipps für die erste Tasse

After pouring the 50 ml, tighten the chamber cap firmly — otherwise the active ingredients evaporate and the next dose becomes inaccurate.

On super-automatics with auto-cappuccino: place the suction tube in the MFC Green solution and run the machine's cleaning program — the machine does the rest.

Always rinse with 1 L of clean water — even though the cleaner is odorless, a faint acid film can otherwise build up and damage seals over time.

Which machines is MFC Green suitable for?

Automatic milk frothers (e.g. on super-automatics and professional machines) and steam wands. MFC Green is flushed through the milk line, or used in a cup of water for the steam wand. Do not mix with other chemicals.

How often should I use MFC Green?

Cafetto recommends daily cleaning of milk frothers in café operation and at least weekly at home. On super-automatics with auto-cappuccino systems: follow the manufacturer — typically daily at end of shift.

Why is MFC Green acidic?

The acidic formula removes milk proteins and milk fat together with limescale. Alkaline cleaners (e.g. standard milk-system cleaners) dissolve protein and fat but do not descale. MFC Green covers both in one step — ideal for hard water.

Does residue remain in the machine?

No, when used as directed. After cleaning, rinse with 1 L of clean water — all surfactants are rapidly biodegradable. Cafetto MFC Green leaves no odor or aftertaste in the next brew.
