Description

The Cafetto Swivel Head Cleaning Brush is the professional brush for daily group-head cleaning — ergonomically shaped, with a pivoting head and replaceable bristles.

The swivel head adapts to the geometry of your group head — you can reach the shower screen, group gasket and edge of the group without awkward angles. The ergonomic handle sits securely in the hand, even after several group heads in a café shift.

The brush head clicks on and off — you don't toss the entire brush, just the worn-out head. Replacement heads are available separately as a 2-pack.

How to use: brush coffee residue off the group head, shower screen and group gasket — for a clean seal of the portafilter and consistent brewing. Ideal paired with Cafetto EVO backflushing powder.

Tipps für die erste Tasse

After each backflushing, run the brush across the shower screen and around the group gasket — the last freed coffee oil residue doesn't then end up in the next espresso.

Mark or log the brush head before replacing it — that way you know exactly when you last swapped and can optimize the replacement rhythm.

Always store the brush bristles-up or hanging — it dries faster and no mold spots form at the base of the bristles.

What do I use the Swivel Head Cleaning Brush for?

For daily cleaning of the group head: shower screen, group gasket and the rim of the group are brushed free of coffee residue. Ideally after every backflushing cycle or at end of shift before shutting the machine down.

Does the brush fit all espresso machines?

It's designed universally for 58 mm group heads (standard E61, commercial machines) and fits most 53/54 mm machines as well. The pivoting head compensates for different geometries. For unusual group designs (e.g. Slayer V3, Synesso), check dimensions first.

How often do I need to replace the brush head?

Café continuous use: every 2–3 months depending on shift count. Home use: significantly longer — typically every 6–12 months. Cue: when the bristles start splaying or show gray discoloration, time for a new head.

Can I clean the brush in the dishwasher?

We recommend handwashing under warm water — the dishwasher can loosen the click mechanism over time and soften the bristles. Rinse with warm soapy water and a touch of Cafetto EVO, dry well — ready for the next day.
