Which Comandante grinders does the Clix Mate fit?
The Standard & Red Clix version fits the classic three-point clicker axle on the C40 MK3 and MK4 — whether you run the standard axle or the Red Clix RX35 upgrade. The Gold Clix version fits the brass GX50 clicker on the C60 Baracuda and the X25 Trailmaster.
What's the difference between Standard/Red Clix and Gold Clix?
The two versions differ only in their inner geometry. Standard & Red Clix has the three-point receptacle for the classic C40 axle. Gold Clix has a multi-spline receptacle for the chunky brass clicker on the newer grinders. The exterior and function are identical.
How big is the storage compartment?
It fits roughly one espresso dose of beans (around 18 g), a trimmed Aeropress filter, or a pinch of salt and pepper. Not a full bean container, but enough for the small emergencies on the road.
